Even Master Chef Ronald Gullage Jr. had no idea on September 4, 2005 that his business would recover to see the opening of two new locations in Georgia. Hurricane Katrina literally blew Café Orleans Catering to Augusta Georgia where the successful New Orleans catering company was forced to relocate.
With sheer determination, Café Orleans Catering has just opened two new locations in Augusta and Atlanta Georgia. Both locations feature a menu created by Master Chef Ronald Gullage Jr., and captures the essence of New Orleans cuisine. Chef Gullage says that the City of Augusta was very instrumental in not only the recovery of Café Orleans Catering, but also the recovery of his family.
“During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina our entire lives were flipped upside down, and top it off we lost everything. Then we landed in this wonderful City called Augusta Georgia and the residents welcomed us with open arms. With the love and support we discovered in this great city we were able to not just recover, but thrive.”
